Students are given 20 sentences in English. The teacher reads the Spanish equivalent of the 20 English sentences and the students identify what the teacher is saying. This is a great activity to prepare students for the listening portion of exams.

I really liked having this as an alternate to the textbook listening activities. The kids were initially intimidated by all the information, but soon realized they knew their stuff and did a great job with it.
