This story deals with toys and children. These digital storybooks are written using a combination of Spanish and English. Most of the story is in English with the exception of the new vocabulary words. The story rhymes.
We like to use these digital storybooks to introduce new vocabulary. You could also have students take turns reading different sections to help them practice pronunciation of new words.
After students have been exposed to these stories several times, they are asked to write them for specific vocabulary sections. We find that when students write their own digital, rhyming storybooks, it helps them to memorize and learn new vocabulary. We hope you and your students enjoy our stories.

We began our teaching careers volunteering at public schools in Puebla, Mexico and Costa Rica. Upon returning to the United States, we began teaching high school Spanish. Our classes are made up of juniors and seniors. We also taught some continuing education classes to adults at a local community college.
