This activity requires studented to evaluate components of the Radical Republican and President Johnson's Reconstruction plans. Students are given a grading rubric and are asked to justify their grading on each issue. Bellringer and flashback review is also provided to introduce topic, as well as a slide of introductory notes. After the activity, wrap up questions follow. At the end of the Plans activity, students are transitioned to consider the people affected by Reconstruction. Activity directions and a spectrum activity wrap up are then proovided which go along with the "Reconstruction Cue Cards" I also have listed. In the block class, I am using both activities on the same day. Designed for use in U.S. History.
