My students complete this assignment during the last week of school. It is not assessed, which is why I did not include a rubric. The purpose of this assignment is to help students realize how much they have read this year, and how far they have come. It is also my hope that as students listen to their peers, they will add a few books to their must-read summer booklists.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching full-time for 11 years, and have taught from grades 5 - 8. I currently have a 5/6 class. I teach all subject areas. I have a passion for integrating technology into my classroom and love the enthusiasm it creates in my students.
