Rock-On, the Rock Cycle Card Game by Leanne Thomas. Each deck is comprised of Igneous, Metamorphic, and Sedimentary rock cards in addition to Magma, and Sediments cards. Additional cards represent each of the five processes that change one type to another. Cards are played in an order to simulate the cycle rocks go through in the real world.
I am a teacher in the Prince William County Public School System in Northern Virginia. I'm very excited about several card games I invented to help students learn about basic science concepts related to the Rock Cycle, Sound, Matter, Kingdoms of living things, and Vertebrates/Invertebrates. These games are very easy to play and can be played in a short period of time. They can be used as a hands-on tool to complement a science unit. They are also the perfect, fun, quick way to review before state exams. Each card is plastic coated for durability. For the visual learner, actual photographs reinforce the concepts presented.
Additional features:
No set-up time required. Just deal the cards and play.
Students can play independently. Cards are colored coded to ensure that the correct card is played at the right time.
Limited time? Great for those 10 extra minutes. Perfect for students who finish an assignment early, or as a reward at the end of a good day.
High Quality. Each card is plastic coated for durability. Actual photographs are used to enhance learning.
Created by a teacher. Used successfully in the classroom with real students. They love them!!

Absolutly loved playing this game with the kids! It was used as a special treat during rainy recesses to play with me! The kids asked to play even when we wer no longer in that science unit. A real win! Only wish that I could have afforded sets of cards for groups of students to play.

Great game to give kids the chance to practice what they've learned and get some repetition applying the rock cycle. Has some actual rocks of each type named which helps to give students some exposure to naming the rocks.

A set of cards is one deck. Each deck has about 60 cards, depending on the game. i advise one deck for every 2 - 6 players. Please let me know if I can answer any more questions. i look forward to your order.

I'm sorry. Buying through TpT there is no mechanism for that. On my website I give a volume discount for orders of 10 or more (price and shipping). But buying through TpT I have already discounted the price by more than half. So you are really getting a deal, even with the individual shipping fees.
