What do you do when they slide the dice together and make for example 8/2? My first graders are just learning fractions for the first time. They really don't know to turn it around and say 2/8ths. Just wondering how you use the game.

I would stress before the time (when introducing the game) that the smaller number MUST go at the top...that way they will always make a proper fraction that will appear on the board. Hope this helps! Enjoy the game.... :) Michelle
