PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Start off the year in World Geography with Project-Based Learning! Working in small teams, students will investigate the causes for why established civilizations fall. After research and investigation, students will decide the top three reasons for the fall of the Roman Empire and invent ways to prevent such a fall from happening again. With their teams, students will create and present a community service project that would best save an empire that is on the brink of failure. Which team will make the biggest impact on the empire? Try this engaging PBL unit with your students and find out! (This 12-page product includes: Pacing Guide of two-week teacher plans (see Preview) & student worksheets including directions, VTS brainstorm for paintings of empire, Cornell Notes, Top 3 Reasons for fall, prevention brainstorm, Venn Diagram for weaknesses in Rome and U.S., Community Service Project Plan, Rough Draft of Presentation Product, Oral Presentation directions, and Rubric.)

Same thing here. I would just like to have all of the elements included that are mentioned in the unit. In this case, specifically the photos of the weaknesses in the United States that are being compared to Rome's weaknesses. This would make it a more complete package so that I can just "grab the unit and go" so to speak!

Yes, I totally agree and I apologize for not including the photos I used in this package. Since they were not my photos, I did want to break any copyright laws. Maybe I will try and take some photos of my own or have my Photography Club take photos around our city to use and sell next time! Thanks for the comments and suggestions! :)
