Scoot is a fun whole-group activity that can be used in many different ways. It can be used as a review game, skill practice or even a test! You could even use these cards as task cards for a center or for early finishers.
This version of Scoot tests students' knowledge of rounding. Students must round numbers to the nearest ten and hundred. This game includes 24 question cards, a student response sheet, game directions and an answer key.
*As per requests, I have changed the answer sheet to accommodate 32 questions. I have added 4 new questions with 4 blank question cards to total 32 questions!*
*Be sure to check out my other LA and Math SCOOT games/task cards!*
Thanks for sharing this great contribution! I like your style! I’m new to tpts. I’m a bilingual teacher in Argentina. You can visit my store at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/store/theenglishgrammarworld you can leave a comment if you wish! I’m your follower number 106 . hugs Hernán Giannini
Thanks for your feedback. The recording sheets are the two sheets at the beginning that say SCOOT! and have numbered boxes. Your students will record their answer in the number box that matches the number on the question card. I hope this helps!

This is such an important math concept and one that students have difficulty understanding. It would be nice if the numbers went a little higher & also some practice rounding the middle number. Thanks for sharing your creativity and generosity - it is greatly appreciated! :)
Love the Scoot! Excellent activity but would love to see even more cards where students have to round to an internal place value, such as 538, round to the nearest ten. This always trips up my kids! Thank you for the wonderful activity!
Super excited about this freebie! Rounding is always so difficult for them. at least after all their hard work, they can be rewarded by playing a fun game... I use scoot as my all time favorite assessment! I also pinned!

With all the downloads I'm surprised that you didn't get more feedback. This rounding activity is colorful and attractive for the kids to look at while they are working on rounding through a fun game. This is the nicest Scoot Game I've seen. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Love the font with diagonal lines and would like to make a bulletin board with those letters. Would you mind sharing the name of the font?
Thanks for creating a great way to review for the kids! They had a great time playing yesterday!!

I downloaded your freebie scoot game a little while ago and could not make it print. It had 15 pages. I tried downloading it again and now it has 13 pages....I too have 32 students and really wanted the blank cards you had originally included. Can you check and repost the version with the 4 blank cards? Thank you very much.

PS I have now tried printing and no matter what I do, the printer refuses to print this file. It says it is a "image" conflict or something. I have used TPT a lot, so I know it should work...I am sure it is me, but could you check please? Thanks!!!!!
I am sorry you are having trouble printing. I have not heard this concern from anyone else, so I'm not sure what's going on. I have reposted the file. Let me know if it works!

I am really excited to use the Rounding SCOOT!, but I have 32 students and there are only 24 cards (Oh, how I wish I had only 24). Would you be able to add more cards? At my school, we can get up to 34 students, so keeping this in mind when creating future activities might be beneficial. Thank you!
I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I, too, teach math. Since you are wanting some feedback on your store and products, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.
First, make a colorful, eye catching cover page for EVERY product you create which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Move your directions to the second page. You might also list several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also, number your pages.
It is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.
