This package includes almost 40 pages of activities, posters and games for reviewing rounding and place value.
Activities include making a rounding R.A.F.T., completing a place value chart, writing place value rules in their own words, and completing a traditional worksheet (10 questions -solutions included).
Also:
A fun board game to practice rounding and place value (3 versions to accommodate for grade levels and ability levels).
"Numbers in Real Life" and "To Round or Not to Round?" are activities that encourage students to see numbers in the real world and think about them in an evaluative way, while also practicing the skills of rounding and concept of place value.
Tasteful number posters 0-9, decimal, "Rounding" and "Place Value" are included as well as activity suggestions to use the posters. These posters are a simple way to involve K-T learners and to get students out of their seats for short time periods to complete reinforcing activities.
Place Value cards (Ten Thousandths - Billions) are included to make your own chart in your room.

Subject Area:
I have been teaching for 6 years now. I currently teach Grade 7 Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Health but I have taught grades 3 to 9, multiple subjects. My passion is teaching Math, for sure. I love the challenges that middle school students bring to the room every day. It's a very special age to be a part of. They teach me so much.
