This is a rubric for a sixth grade level classroom. The topic is the Nature of Energy. It is meant to guide students through simple research on what is available for safe energy for our future. It will have an outcome of a visual presentation on slides on a Smart Board but can easily be altered into a Power Point presentation. It will cover not only Science but many Language Arts based objectives for this level.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I've taught for 32 years and am double certified in Regular Education and Speical Education. This year I've been working as an Early Intervention Specialist for Math and Reading in Grades 5, 1, and Kindergarten as well as a Special Education Teacher for 5th graders in Reading and Math. I have worked in both regular education and special education including grades 1-8. I am a Smart Board Exemplary Educator and LOVE teaching children and adults how to use the Smart Board for exciting teaching and learning! I am also a Teacher Support Specialist.
