This rubric sheet is for students to use to do one of three options that combines art with text. They do have to do some writing and also some art in any one of the assignments, but each one is a little bit different and presents students the chance to show their understanding of the book in different ways. They can do a straightforward scene illustration, or a more conceptually difficult visual metaphor of a concept or theme from the book, or a straightforward illustration of a character from the book. Each of the three rubrics is very specific in terms of what students need to do.
