This set of 5 readings plus 5 pages of questions summarizes the Russian Revolution (it also includes lesson suggestions). The set chronicles the long range and immediate causes leading to the February Revolution, as well as the problems and mistakes of the Provisional Government which led to a second revolution -- the Bolshevik Revolution -- in October. The set finished with the establishment of a totalitarian Soviet State under Stalin. It is designed for middle school or high school students. The readings are visually appealing and broken into chunks. They can be used for classwork, homework, research or as a platform for projects. Questions are content based and designed to target essential content acquisition.
I have bought so many of these and they work so well in my classroom where the school system only buys class sets of books and online books. Students prefer to have something physical to read
Thank you for your help!! I'm a new social studies teacher (only one class) and the rest are math. This really helped sum everything up for my students.
