This book is a great reading material for children learning how to read using sight words and CVC words. 95% of the words in this book are sight words and CVC words (short a, e, i, o, u vowel sounds). This book also has a ton of activities because it also focuses on reading comprehension. It includes:
Story with wonderful illustrations
Sight word page
Pre-Reading Checklist and Questions
Concept Definition Map
K-W-L Chart
Problematic Solutions (Prior Knowledge activity)
Phonic Activities
34 pages of fun!!
Thank You Hernandez210. Please check out the other books.

I love your materials. I can't wait to use this material with a little boy I tutor. While the book is rather long, I am sure it will keep his interest!
Thank you Ms. Brown. The artists-Nathalie Hoskins and David Jackson-are awesome!
BTW, two more books, maybe three will be out next week. Our goal is to have a story for almost every phonetic skill (cvc, blends, digraph, silent e, etc.).
Ask Edward DeMesa a question. They will receive an automated email and will return to answer you as soon as possible.
