This is a political cartoon assignment which includes a sample for students to model. Basically, during the duration of the Satire Unit, students will find political cartoons & articles, analyze them and create 8/5 x 11 mini posters of their work. Most students do the entire project on their computers, but it can be done on poster board as well. I usually put all of them up around the room after they are done. It's very enjoyable and a quick way to discuss current events/satire!
