This packet is 25 worksheets that are to be printed front/back (50 pages in all) of 1st grade Saxon Phonics spelling fill in the blank sentences. I used each Saxon list and created a sentence for each word on the list. Students will have to choose from 3 choices, circle it and write it on the line. I was very careful in my word choices for the first half of the year-trying to use the words from those lists only-in order for the lower kids to be successful and for ease of teaching a new routine.

I have been teaching since 2000. I started out in 4th grade for two years then went on to teach 3rd grade for 6 years. I have been teaching 1st grade ever since and have loved every bit of it. I believe all elementary teachers need to experience 1st grade for at least a year....there is so much learning and growing going on...it is amazing!
