Six printable center games that just need to be assembled.
1. Alphabet & Initial Sound Match - students match the upper case letter to the lower case letter and pictures with the initial sound.
3. 0-10 Memory - studnets will match a number to the correct number of acorns.
4. Push the Scarecrow - students push a scarecrow for all the sounds they hear in the word show. (12 fall related pricture cards are provided but you could also use the initial sound cards from above.)
5. Counting Mats - students will match numbers, pictures, and words to a scarecrow counting mat.
6. Roll a Shape - Students will practice drawing shapes or lose a turn if they roll a scarecrow.

Some of the tally marks are "1s" and some are straight lines, like "l". Could be very confusing. Also, I would love to see at least one scarecrow without a letter on it, that could be used universally in any of the games. Great product, though, with adorable graphics, and I am really looking forward to using it for the next several weeks in my centers (kindergarten). Thank you!!

OK - updates are made! I added a sheet with two blank scarecrows for you to use as you wish AND a full page one too! Hopefully you can find a way to make some other activities in class with them. (I like to use my real objects with these too!)
I also fixed the tally marks. I made them bigger orginally because they fit, so they appeared to look like one's maybe. But that does not support the concept of numbers so it really made no sense. thanks for pointing that out for me. =) Sometimes I get so caught up in the format I forget the learning concept. =)

I have taught for 9 years. Most has been in low-income areas and with second language learners. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and technology. Kinder is where my heart is! I have also taught at the National I Teach Kindergarten conference in Las Vegas! I would say that was the highlight of my career, but how can you surpass teaching kids to read? =)
