Science: SOL 2.1 C Science Attribute or Properties Project Letter and Rubric:
This is a take home project letter: describes a fun and practical way for students to observe and list multiple properties of the objects around them using their sensory skills ( taste, touch, smell). This project could also fit in with Matter unit: have students describe the physical properties of matter. This is a great project to send home and get students and parents working together. I also have included a simple rubric that provides instant feedback. This way you can display the projects and the students can know how they did.

I am going to make this a group project, but I like the idea and the practical practice of physical properties. There were a couple of typos. No big deal to fix. The rubric was well done.
