Adele, I think your science poems are so clever. I have written similar, but different, poems for phonics called Giggle Phonics and Decoding. Thank you for your comments on my science poems. I have sold several books, but I wouldn't say I am making much money. I wrote the poems so my students could pass the end of level tests. The little extra money is nice, but not the driving force behind my writing. Good luck with your poems.

I am a retired elementary teacher. I taught for 28 years, with 24 years at East Elementary in St. George, Utah. I am also an author. Teaching provided me with many opportunities to write. I have written numerous poems, songs and scripts for dance festivals and kindergarten graduations. I also wrote poems to help kids succeed. My Chunk Poems have helped thousands of emergent readers, and my content poems help older elementary students remember science content.
