This Energy Unit was created for the busy teacher who has a great deal of science to cover and not a lot of time. This unit covers the benchmarks for Energy for the young learner and is complete with a Science Notebook. This unit exposes students to cooperative learning and technology. This unit can be taught in a week and students finish the unit having learned all they need to know about Energy. I hope you enjoy learning about Energy!
I agree! It is so hard to fit everything in. I'm trying to make a better effort with the implementation of the Common Core, but it is still hard to cover soooo much! Thanks for the feedback.
I am so glad. I love integrating technology in my classroom! My kids have one-to-one iPads. I will be posting soon about using iPads in the classroom. Check it out! www.sergidralus.blogsot.com. Thanks or your feedback!
I really love this! Some of the links weren't working as we don't have a Discovery Education account :( The Science Notebook/Journal is perfect! Thank you. We are so excited to begin the unit.
I am glad you like it. I am sorry about the links. I don't know how much that account is if anything, but it is so worth it for science and social studies clips and full video. Good luck with the unit!

Please let me know how I can access the website. I unable to access any of them.
The energy website is http://www.eia.gov/kids/energy.cfm?page=about_home-basics
Link worked today so that should be fine. If the Discovery Education website isn't working go to www.Discoveryeducation.com. Type in the title of the video you want to see and you can stream it from your computer. This website has a wealth of information on it. Does your school have an account? If not, you should ask them to get one. It is well worth it. Outstanding videos and clips!
Let me know if that doesn't work.
