Science Tasks with Otis & Flask are a series of 9 centers that are designed to help 3rd-6th grade students revisit and build upon critical science concepts. The centers within this program complement your existing curriculum - as lead-ins or follow-ups to science topics. A primary purpose of the centers is to provide a tool to assist teachers and students in preparing for achievement assessments in science. These are great to use as a center or whole class and require easy to obtain materials. Each center has a hands-on activity, reading passages, vocabulary, and short answer assessment items.

Thanks for the feedback! We LOVE the centers--and the kids will find them easy to use too! I like that they can also self-check if you want them to do that, and then the teacher can assess the final question that pulls the big idea together! Enjoy!!

Thanks for the comment! We designed them as centers to help review concepts that were tested o the 5th grad science achievement test in Ohio, but found them to be a great tool for centers, and for grades 3-6!
