Common Core does not have standards for Science and Social Studies. North Carolina has adopted Essential Standards for Science and Social Studies. I have included "I Can" statements for Science (Physical, Earth, Life) and Social Studies (History, Geography, Economics, Civics, and Culture). I hope that some of the "I Can" statements will work with your district or state objectives for Science and Social Studies.
I have also included 8 statement posters for the 8 Mathematical Practices in Common Core.

This is my third year teaching Kindergarten. Prior to teaching, I was a Kindergarten Assistant for 6 years and a Special Education Assistant for 10 years. I decided to pursue a teaching certificate to fulfill a dream. I went back to college with my two daughters. My poor husband had 3 girls in college at once. Finally we are all finished. Teaching Kindergarten is my dream job.
