Scientist Lingo {Science vocabulary used by scientists/ scientific method}

Academic Vocabulary can be quite difficult for students especially in science. This product uses many of the common words that scientists use. The list of words can be seen in the bingo thumbnail picture. Some include: measure, model, hypothesis, predict, results, etc. Some of these materials can be reused if you have a substitute teacher. Great review!
Supplementary materials/ This product includes:
**One printable bingo board which the teacher photocopies and students copy the words themselves onto the board(mixing them up).
* Words for teachers to display on overhead/Elmo/pocket chart while calling out the words from bingo. These words can also be used for a word wall.
* Teacher hints to use for words
*A Mad Lab Science Game/ This is a partner game that has students use some application of the words. This will require reading on the part of the students.
* A simple matching game
**A word scramble with 8 of these words
**A word search

I hope your class enjoys it. The product is intended for 2nd and above. The academic vocabulary is getting harder and my 2nd graders have to know these words. They are hard but it is part of the curriculum. With all the standards from my state and also Common Core, a more robust vocabulary is expected. The thumbnail( in the description) shows the words used in the product. Thank you for your feedback.

You are welcome! After teaching the terms, I am reusing some of the games as a review for my students if they should have a substitute teacher. They already know how to play and these are words that need to be reinforced throughout their science year.
