Reader’s Theater has been proven effective to raise reading fluency and comprehension by giving an authentic reason to read and reread passages while discussing the text, voice inflection and pronunciation cues.
Psalm 146 Reader’s Theater takes a look at the 10 verses in this Psalm by having Bible characters join the readers to describe events in their lives that show God to be worthy of out praise.
Casting is flexible with 16 defined roles. Run time is 20 minutes but can be divided into multiple readings.
Two interactive computer game links are included at the end of the script.
