Five skits and a parody song for Christian actors
The Wedding Reception A wedding planner can't understand why a bride wants to pay top dollar for meals at her wedding reception for guests that probably won't attend. Parallels are made with God paying for our salvation with Jesus death, whether people accept the invitation or not. 2 characters, run time 2 minutes.
Beyond Millionaire After winning the million, Carol has to answer one more question off camera. Is Jesus a) Lord, b) lunatic c) liar or d) myth. Ends with a lifeline directed at the actual audience. Run time 5 minutes, 3 characters and a voice over.
Matthias and Faithfulness A child, disappointed at not making a sports team or getting cast in a play, talks to Matthias, the disciple who wasn’t chosen the first time around. Three characters, run time 3 minutes
Shot through the Heart A takeoff on Clint Eastwood. The Bible is sharper than any 2 edged sword which in modern terms makes it a spiritual 44 magnum linked to giving life, not taking it. Three characters, run time 3 minutes.
Camcorder Failing to read and heed the directions almost ruins a new camcorder careless placed in the sand. Parallels are made to reading and heeding God’s rules for holy living. Three characters, run time 3 minutes.
Rahab Hide those Spies Words to a parody version of the Eagle’s Lying eyes. Rahab hides the Israelite spies in Jericho and saves her families life by trusting in God. Note: US law recognizes parodies of songs to be fair use.
