Seasons & Holidays Unit
This unit was written to develop the Think--Talk--Draw--Write skills of every child in your class. Let's focus on the 4 Seasons and their holidays, but be driven by our common CORE standards. It's a great follow-up study for our Weather Unit(also available in my shop), since it takes the students knowledge of weather and integrates it into the seasonal cycles.
It's informative, easy, and FUN for kids to use, while simple for the teacher to teach with and classroom tested. The constructed student work samples make AWESOME featured work for the classroom bulletins, then their home walls. The finished pages also make COOL kinder keepsakes ...my kids love to give them away as presents!

Included in this unit are:
brainstorming tools and graphic organizers (lots of thinking maps)
math, science, and social studies connections
writing extensions and ready to use templates with five star rubrics
finished work sample pages
I stacked the preview pages with 4 pages on 1 picture, so that you could have a larger sampling of what's included.

This is a great unit with many thinking maps and writing activities. I like it because it has varied writing levels and I can use for my low and high students. Maybe update the clip art soon, there is so much cute stuff out there! Overall, I'll be using it and it will be beneficial. Thank you!
