My students love Password, so I was thrilled when I discovered this activity. I can target grade-level vocabulary with a game they enjoy. Thank you so much for your wonderful materials. I purchased 4 new activities last night!
I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but HAD to purchase it right away when I saw it. My students love WordBurst and LanguageBurst. This is the same idea, so I know they will enjoy it!!
I have one other activity that addresses CCSS curricular terms and I definitely have dropped a grade or two for my language students. It's amazing what words they do not retain/recall/know and might explain why they struggle with the on-grade level material (missing foundational vocabulary maybe).

Love that this is tied into the curriculum. Can't wait to use it once we get back from break!
My kiddos have required some instruction first... and sometimes using words from previous grade levels. Overall they've enjoyed it and my teachers confirm that the terms are grade-appropriate for CCSS!

Looks like another great game. I follow your blog and enjoy that too. I can't remember, have you explained how to make a decoder for this on the blog? Do you know where I can purchase one? Many thanks!!!
It is on my to-do list but I currently use a decoder from the Password/Password Jr. Game to use this game. I found it at a thrift store for about $1! :)
