Need a quick and easy center that requires almost no management? Self Correcting Puzzles are the way to go. Simply print, laminate & cut - then let students go to town matching the correct answers. Because each puzzle will only fit with it's correct answers, students automatically know when they have the correct answer. Use over and over as a super simple reinforcement center!
This self-correcting puzzle allows students to count pennies, nickles and dimes for amounts from 1 cent to 20 cents.

I currently teach a mixed age class of 3rd and 4th graders at the International School of Morocco. Previously, I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
