This is a well created set of materials. I think it is a really fun way to teaching sentences. It does require some prep time and organization.

This "recipe" is just what my 2nd graders need to reinforce where to put a period in run-on sentences.

Excellent activities for sentence writing. I like the language/sentence writing procedure the unit presents. This unit is very teacher/student/parent volunteer friendly to use in the classroom.

What a creative way to teach sentence construction! My ELL students have the hardest time putting words into the correct syntax and this 'recipe' will be a full proof way to help them achieve this!

This is going to be a fabulous resource for my grade 3 students to get off to a good start at the beginning of the year. I also think it will be a good way to refer to our sentences- "Do you finish the recipe?" -as they hand in their work.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught 3rd grade and currently teach 1st grade. I am pursuing my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Literacy.
