I created this activity to help my kids practice types of sentences: complete vs. incomplete. The kids read the sentences and then sort them accordingly. We needed to review this concept before we started discussing simple and compound sentences.

The activity includes directions, labels for "Complete Sentences" and "Incomplete Sentences", as well as 28 cards for sorting.

*NOTE TO BUYERS*

The center works best when printed and laminated. The students need to be able to sort the individual cards/sentences. It should not be used as two whole sheets of paper.

Hello,

I purchased this a while and just tried to download it as I got a new laminator and wanted to make cards. But sadly on my mac the pdf did not work and all the spots were blank with no text inside?

Kind regards,

Charde

Hi Charde! Thank you for the purchase, but sorry for the troubles you're having. Good news, though! It's an easy fix. I had to change the settings on my Mac as well. When you open it, make sure it is opening in Adobe. Your Mac is probably trying to open it in Preview. Mine did that at first until I changed the settings. This post was extremely helpful in solving the problem!

If this doesn't work, email me at 3rdgradegridiron@gmail.com and I'll be glad to help you further. :)

Do you have a MAC? If so, make sure you're downloading the file and not the preview. Also, make sure you have the most current version of Adobe. If you still have issues, let me know and we'll get the center to you ASAP! :)
