HANDS ON activity: a tactile way of practicing SENTENCE STRUCTURE in a foreign language classroom.
They're called "sentence strips," because each packet consists of strips of color-coded pieces of paper with different sentence ELEMENTS provided for students to GENERATE sentences.
Copy off the different color-coded elements, cut the pieces out, and place them into envelopes, and you're ready to go!
These Sentence Strips are also handy because you can use them as an in-class activity, but if a student is absent when you use them, you can let them take home an envelope to make up the activity.
So, each envelope should include:
- 1 set of Instrucciones
- 1 set of Subjects
- 1 set of Verbs
- 1 set of Extras
