The project entails students studying how to make senufo mud cloth paintings. The students will choose an animal as the subject for their painting and will use lines to create patterns within their animals bodies. The students will learn how to paint with the dirt thickened paint on the surface of the fabric. The finished painting can be hung as a panel.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been a Visual Arts teacher for 14 years, as well as the Department Head of the Arts in my high school for the past 3 years. Through my work as the Chair of the K-12 Arts Curriculum Steering Committee in my province, I have been creating art, dance and drama projects for the elementary or middle school stream for 5 years. I have been creating high school Visual Arts projects for my own classroom for the last 14 years.
