Morning work is an excellent way for students to independently practice skills that have been taught in class. If you're like me, I have a lot of extra time in the morning before the tardy bell rings. It leaves too much time for students to idly sit about, but not enough time for a full lesson. This morning work packet provides quick and easy activities that your students can do to learn and be engaged all at the same time! It can also be used as intervention work!

Hi! I was just moved from 2nd grade to kindergarten in December to replace a retiring teacher. I feel like I've now got a handle on where each of my students is and I'd like to implement morning work. Do they start easier in August and become more challenging as the year progresses? I like your packets but looking at January (which I bought along with October and November), I think it may be difficult for my students to "jump right in". Would you recommend starting back at August and working sequentially or perhaps another month? Trying to figure out how best to use for my students in my teaching situation. I would appreciate if you have suggestions. Thanks for the great products. I'm looking forward to using them.

It may be necessary to start perhaps in October or November, until you get a feel for where your class is. August might be too easy, as it covers the letters of the alphabet, and numbers 1-5. I think that October or November would be right on the money. Yes, each pack becomes more challenging. Please let me know if you need any further assistance, you can also email me at agriffith1123@yahoo.com.

Hi! I was wondering if you had Morning Work for the whole year and if so would you be willing to bundle? Or perhaps bundle by quarter? Thanks!

Hi, thank you for your question! The morning work packets are something that I began this school year. I am creating them as I go along. Once I have the year completed, I plan to bundle the entire collection.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fifth year of teaching! Wow, time flies when you're having fun! I was named my school's teacher of the year for the 2012-2013 school year. This is my second year teaching Kindergarten, and I taught 1st grade for three years. I love teaching, and if I couldn't do it I think that I would really be lost in this world!!
