I completed this activity with 4th Language Arts students last year and they really loved it. I split the class into groups of 4 or 5 and gave each book a developmentally appropriate picture book to read and record the sequence of events.

This 7 page download includes four pages that can be displayed on an interactive whiteboard or printed out and displayed in your classroom during the activity. It also includes a recording sheet for students to use during the activity.
