Practice ser vs. estar plus expressions with tener with this fun connect four board game!
Game comes with 55 different question cards, written in context, to practice when to use ser and estar and expressions with tener.
Students must choose the correct verb according to the context of the sentence, and then conjugate it correctly. Answer side includes the answer plus the reason for each particular verb.
Tener expressions include tener hambre/sed/suerte/miedo/razon.
Students play in pairs trying to "connect four" before their opponent. Players must answer questions correctly before taking a turn at the game.
Printable game, game pieces, question cards and directions are all included.
Cards can also be used as simple flashcards!

This is a great game - and the playing cards are so thorough and varied! It works well to put the game sheet in a plastic sheet sleeve and use with whiteboard markers.
