When educating teens about sexuality and the human reproduction system, it is important to provide young people with the option to remain abstinent. This power point presentation begins with a warm-up defining abstinence, outlines the benefits and freedoms associated with abstinence, and provides students with suggestions on how they can stick with their decision to remain abstinent. In addition to these topics, students are given 4 real life scenarios for them to role play and practice their refusal skills. Through these role plays, students can strengthen their communication skills in preparation for potentially high pressure situations.
