This activity based on Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare asks students to choose from six scenes and rewrite that scene in Instant Message or text messaging language. Could be used for any Shakespere play - just substitute different scenes.

I originally started with an elementary background, and so I have some elementary materials as well. For the past few years, I moved up to higher education, teaching at a community college.
