This PowerPoint presentation is a fantastic tool to take students step by step through the many parts of a sonnet. Attention is paid to rhyme scheme, meter (iambic pentameter), paraphrasing line by line, and patterns in the message. Good for an in depth look at this poetic form. I use it in my poetry class and it is the best way to help my students visualize everything involved with analyzing and writing a sonnet.

This powerpoint broke down the sonnet into understandable parts for my students. The colors were not a problem for me.

I really like this powerpoint -- except for the colors. I suppose I could change them up, and make it a little more appealing visually. But the content is very good and I like how it was put together.
