A highly rigorous project to be done in conjunction with a study of multiple plays by William Shakespeare. This project will turn students into playwrights, poets and performers while they perform research about the Bard and connect their findings to details from the play. Used as a Summative Assessment in a senior elective course, this project could be scaled back and used individually with any of Shakespeare's plays by students in grades 8-12.
