This file includes 36 shamrock puzzles. Place the shamrock pieces without a yellow dot face up on a flat surface. Place the shamrock pieces with a yellow dot in a container. Students pick a shamrock piece with a yellow dot and name the picture. Have students identify the Initial sound in the word. Then students delete the initial sound and say the new word. Students locate the shamrock piece that has a picture of the new word to make the shamrock. Great for a Literacy Workstation or Reading Center.
