Shape Shooter is an interactive MATH program that allows students to investigate shapes and their names. Students compete for the high score as they blow-up various geometric shapes!
I create and develop commercial games, applications and more. I do the same for the students in my classroom. For my fourth graders I identified a specific need; they simply hadn't had much experience with shapes and could name only a few of them. I put my skills to use to solve this area of need.
I created Shape Shooter to engage my students in a unit on shapes. I also used the game as a passive and continuing learning tool by allowing pairs of students to play during their recess time. To say the least, it was a huge hit, and not just with my class.
I hope you and your students enjoy Shape Shooter. The demo version is fully functional, however, it is limited to fifty shots per play. If you (or your students) would like to support new games and purchase the full version, it is available within my TpT storefront.

Thank you Mary Anna :)! I really appreciate the feedback. As I continue to explore ways to reach my students, I'd love to hear new ideas and suggestions!
