Introduce your students to the process of scientific experimentation with this simple science lesson. In this lesson, the students will predict why some pennies are shinier than others, learn the meaning of a hypothesis by watching a video (link to website), make a hypothesis, graph their hypothesis, clean pennies, and learn why pennies are dull and how they become shiny.
