This is an analysis activity to be used within a unit on Shirley Jackson short stories. While reading the short stories, Charles and The Witch, students will complete the analysis sheet on Setting, Characters, Plot, etc. To complete the activity, students can work in small groups to complete the wrap-up questions evaluating and comparing the stories, and also further investigating the works of Shirley Jackson. Great for use after reading The Lottery. Short stories are not included, but are available in full text online or in most textbooks.
