A reproducable format for evaluating short stories. Asks basic story questions on the first page (plot, characterization, theme, etc.), and then uses the back page for specific literary term identification within the story. Simply delect or have students "x"-out the terms not covered for that particular story. My students quickly became comfortable with the format. We used the first one just to write down definitions of terms as a reference guide. Makes teaching any short story much more manageable.
