Have your students put on a short story fair! Break them up into groups and have each group read a different short story. Have them discuss the story together and then create a project that they will display at the fair. The project should convince others to read their story. Includes Fair Response Sheets, which enable students to give feedback to the other groups.

Good use of multiple intelligences. I like the idea of a fair to encourage others to read your story. I think I'll adapt it, having several of each option for my "short story fair." Thanks for the jumping off point.
