This short vowel fun pack contains various ideas,games, and activities for students to use when practicing and learning about short vowels. These activities and games can be used whole class, in small groups, in centers, with volunteers, and in guided reading.
Included, you will find the following items:
1. List of ideas of activities, organizers, and games you can create/use that have minimal prep
2. Blank word ladder
3. Highlight-a-Word for each vowel (total of 5 pages)
4. Blank fish bone diagram
5. Blank tic-tac-toe board
6. Tic-tac-toe with words to read for each vowel sound + 1
with mixed short vowels (6 total pages)
7. Short Vowel Fun board game and recording sheet
8. Short Vowel Spinner Cover Up game
9. 4 in a Row Short Vowel Game
10. 4 in a Row Blend/Digraph Edition Game
11. Roll a Vowel dice game
12. Memory � picture edition
13. Memory � word edition
14. Short vowel sort (students must sort the pictures and write the word underneath each picture)
