These games are great to help students practice reading simple, short vowel words. The set contains five games (short vowel a, e, i, o, and u). To play, have students work in pairs. After cutting the word cards, have each pair place their cards in a paper bag. The children take turns choosing cards and reading the words. Who ever gets the picture places their cards back in the bag and the game continues. I love using this game in my class because their is not a "winner" and the children can continue playing until time is out.
