This includes two worksheets that guide students through the process of analyzing Parts I and II of Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha. Each chapter in the novel Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse mirrors the Buddhist belief of four Noble Truths. Prior to teaching the novel I provided my class with ample information about Buddhism and the Nobel Truths. As the students read each chapter I told them which noble truth aligned with each chapter, but I did not explain exactly how the Noble Truth would appear in each chapter. At the end of Part I the students completed the first worksheet and at the end of Part II they completed the second worksheet.

I taught for two years in a brick and mortar high school. I know teach for the only cyber school in Pennsylvania that does not use a boxed curriculum. The teachers work in departments to create their own curriculum.
