Materials needed: Koosh balls or gentle hands.
How to play: Students will take turns coming up to the board. Call out one of the sight words. Have the student either throw a Koosh ball (or other soft ball) at the balloon with the corresponding word, or gently tap it. Keep the whole class engaged by having them give a thumbs up or thumbs down to show if the answer was correct.
All the words on the balloons are PrePrimer Dolch words but can be edited. Change them as students' sight word knowledge progresses, or add seasonal vocabulary.
