Teaching sight words can be fun for your students when they learn them by playing hands on games. Cauldron Sight Word Wands are a great way to teach sight words. You can do so using a large group, a small group or a cooperative learning group to inforce sight words. Using the wands is a great strategy for helping students to remember their sight words. All students participate by either being a wand fairy or a wand wizard. My students really love using them and yours will too:) The wands can be placed in your literacy center. They also make a great resource for struggling 1st grade readers.
