This sight word assessment is based on the list of 1,200 high frequency/high utility words and covers 12 sets of words! It is color-coded, but it also is labeled near the bottom of each page (in case you want to run them in black and white). Each color coordinates with my Sight Words Vocabulary Star games/flashcards, and the kids can use the words on the rings to read as you assess them. Simply go down each column to read along and highlight any incorrect responses. :) SIMPLE! You may opt to have your students copy their own set and keep the document in their data folders/portfolios, but students can also use the "Sight Word Star" certificate to keep track of the level they will be putting in the spotlight! :) The file contains 24 pages for documentation purposes and one certificate! Happy Teaching!
This file can be used with the following files (or you can purchase levels individually):

Working on reading fluency with high frequency words makes so much sense. I use Rebecca Sitton spelling too, so this is a great tie-in. Thank you for all of your hard work!
This is an incredible product!Thank you for being so thorough!

I've been using these in my classroom since school started. My students like when they get to move up to the next 50 words. Also, it has very helpful to my lower readers with determining which sight words we need to keep working on.

I love having all these words in one resource to readily move to the next level. I'm a little concerned about the font confusing some of my lower students, but I'm ready to give it a try. Thanks for your hard work.
Hi, Cynthia! I understand your concern. I intentionally created it with a nonstandard font, because I want my students to be able to read different fonts, especially as trade books experiment more and more with fonts and layouts. I sincerely hope this works for you! :)
Love this! It is a great way to keep track of sight word progress.

I REALLY love this!! However, there are some errors...it should say 551-600, but you have it as 550-600 and it says 950-1000 when it should be 951-1000. If you fix it, please let me know so I can reprint those pages for my kiddos...thanks so much! Oh, and the 700 series of words don't have the titles higlighted like the rest of the words do. Thanks again!! This is really great and saved me a TON of work! :)

Love that you have the time make these look so great! I'm teaching a new grade this year and have a very busy toddler at home, so there's not a lot of extra time to create some of these wonderful extras! Thank you so much!
